Now Disney becomes embroiled in Hollywood sex scandal after actress sues claiming she was abused by Harvey Weinstein after Miramax was bought by the family friendly studio

Canadian actress claims Weinstein exposed himself, before he 'forced down her skirt and held her down by her wrists'
She said the alleged assault took place during the period that Weinstein's studios was owned by Disney
Actress is suing both Disney and the disgraced producer over the allegations
She's one of 60 women to accuse of Weinstein of sexual abuse or harassment - 18 of which are said to have occurred while Miramax was a subsidiary of Disney
New York Times reports that Weinstein paid $100,000 in 'hush money' to actress Rose McGowan regarding an incident at a hotel room in 1997
McGowan has since accused Weinstein of raping her
Disney have denied any knowledge of 'complaints, lawsuits or settlements'
But many remain skeptical as the disgraced producer's behavior was said to be an 'open secret' in Hollywood
Meanwhile, Disney animation chief John Lasseter announced he was taking a leave of absence for making staff feel 'uncomfortable' with unwanted hugs
